New Delhi: The roar of the tiger has well and truly returned to the Sariska Tiger Reserve. On Friday, tigress was brought to Sariska in an Indian Air Force helicopter from the Ranthambhore National Park in Rajasthan.
Earlier a tiger was introduced in Sariska a week ago. Both the tigers are being kept in different enclosures till they get accustomed to the new habitat.
This is the biggest experiment in the history of Indian conservation to bring the big cats back to Sariska which lost all its 15 tigers due to poaching.
But some conservationists fear that the park is still easily accessible and too disturbed a habitat right now to introduce the big cat.
