Lions and Tigers and Models, Oh My!!
I’m pleased to inform that Big Cat Rescue has teamed up with Natasha Sakhuja (http://www.natashasakhuja.com/), a fashion designer based out of Toronto who will be conducting a public awareness/fundraising campaign in support of the magnificent creatures that call Big Cat Rescue home.
Ms. Sakhuja and her like-minded colleagues are very much opposed to private ownership/confinement of Big Cats and are seeking to raise awareness regarding the plight of such creatures, both in captivity as well as the wild.
As part of Ms. Sakhuja’s public awareness efforts, she and her colleagues will be visiting BCR from July 8th through the 12th, during which time they will be conducting a photo-shoot in support of a Big Cat calendar that will be used to help raise funds in support of the sanctuary.
Ms. Sakhuja is creating a custom line of apparel in support of this public awareness/fundraising campaign. While several model’s will be traveling with Ms. Sakhuja for her visit to Big Cat Rescue, she is also seeking two BCR volunteers who would like to be part of this Big Cat fashion shoot. (no experience required!)
Ms. Sakhuja has informed Jeff that the two lucky volunteers selected to participate in the Big Cat fashion-shoot will be able to keep the outfits that she will be custom designing for them in advance of the photo-shoot.
Note: This call for models only applies to current volunteers at Big Cat Rescue. Contact Jeff if you are interested.
