Bhopal, June 11: For increasing number of white tigers in the state Van Vihar National Park is doing effort and in this sequence it has sent proposal to Hyderabad and demand a couple of white tiger. If this proposal is accepted through Hyderabad Zoo then number of white tigers would not only be raised rather tourists also able to see them.

According to Manager of Van Vihar SS Rajput, “conversation in this matter is ongoing, while verbal permission is also granted through zoo, however we wait for written permission. After getting their written order the matter would be proceed. Before six white tigers were used to be at Van Vihar. Some of them were died due to old age, while some died untimely, by which not only in Van Vihar rather these tigers’ breed was missed from the state.

For fulfilling shortage of these white tigers Nandakanan National Park had been making effort for long time to bring couple of this tiger. In this connection on 22nd April 9 year-old Lalita and 11 year-old Bhagat were brought. If Hyderabad Zoo is agreed to give a couple of tiger then their number will be increased to four in Van Vihar.
