Thursday, Feb 28, 2008 @05:56pm CST
If you have a lion, tiger or a bear as a pet, you need to register them with the county.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department is alerting people to register their dangerous wild animals.
Sheriff Archie Dunn says a person in the county was selling diamond back rattle snakes without being registered.
The form is a safety measure in case the animals hurt a resident, they can track down the owner.
To register your animal you can call the animal control division at 417-358-8177 extension 1398 for more information.
