Reisa Cougar's paws were butchered when she was a cub that was sold as a pet to a drug dealer in NY. Our vet takes a look at her paws today to see what can be fixed.  Reise's blood work results indicated mild kidney disease which is not a surprise for her age. An appointment will be set up in the near future for her to visit Ehrlich Animal Hospital where Dr. Wynn will repair her botched de-claw. When she was de-clawed by her previous owner they did not remove the entire first joint of each toe. This joint was crudely cut in half instead causing mutated claws to grow back putting uncomfortable pressure on her toes and pads.
