Thanks Tiger

Something most donors can agree on is that they want their donations to go to the cause and not to frivolous expenses.  That’s why we have created this page to show our thanks.

2020 Annual Report

Big Cat Attacks

In the past our donation and sponsor kits have come with varying levels of appreciation gifts; from sending the donor an 8 x 10 photo of one of our cats, or mailing labels, window decals, bumper stickers, etc. but we kept hearing from our donors that they wanted their entire gift to go to the cats and not to these things they could buy in our store if they really wanted them.   We have tried to honor their noble request, but found that we waste far more staff time trying to discern those who want the free gifts from those who don’t.

You can help us honor their requests and still get your free appreciation gifts by contacting us to let us know what you want us to send you.  Below are the levels of donation and what that entitles you to get from us.  So that we know you were a donor (we have several portals where donations flow in) please email Appreciation@BigCatRescue.org and send us a copy of your donation receipt, along with which items you are entitled to, by your donation level, so we only send what you want and will use.

You can always help by encouraging people to visit BigCatRescue.org to learn more about big cats and the situations facing them. Another great way is to encourage people to visit CatLaws.com to help make a difference. On BigCatRescue.org you can use the menus at the top to find ways to help, even ways that don't cost.

When I lived in GA, I went to the Cherry Tree Festival. They had a traveling show featuring several different types of lions and tigers. I was horrified at the small cages that they were using for 2 to 3 cats at a time. I will do whatever is necessary to see that these types of captive big cat shows are stopped as well as the private ownership of big cats. They belong in the wild as that is what they are called wild animals for. It is inhumane what the private sector does when owning wild animals. Let them go!
